All I will need is a power outlet and water spigot. I have all hoses, extension cords and tools. It would be helpful to remove all personal items before I arrive. This is not necessary as I will still bag everything I pull out, but it does reduce the time needed. If you have child seats, please remove these as some can be quite difficult.
It will depend on a few factors - size of the vehicle, condition, and services requested mainly. For cleaning only, the average vehicle will take 3-5 hours. If it is in good shape and/or smaller, maybe 2.5 to 3.5 hours or so. If the vehicle is large or just requires a lot more effort to clean, some may take 6 hours or more.
Polishing reduces surface defects like scratches and oxidized clear coat, leaving a glossy, reflective, smooth finish. Think of this as a very fine liquid sandpaper that slowly removes some of the surface clear coat. Polishing is a way to mechanically correct the surface with fine abrasives which will enhance gloss and reflectivity. A coating's main job is to give protection and add ease of future maintenance cleaning, but will also add gloss and can enhance the appearance of most colors. There are various types of coatings, but the basic principle of each is to add a protective layer.
The sealant I use would be recommended in place of a typical wax after each wash or at least once every 3-6 months. It is synthetic, so fairly durable in the real world. Ceramic coatings tend to have a longer durability than sealants and can slightly change the appearance of the color as well. Some will add depth to the color, make blacks look blacker, give a ton of gloss once cured, and the primary reason for a ceramic coating is to make future cleaning much easier. Ceramic coating application is more expensive due to the expense of the product itself and effort needed in prepping the surface before application.

Yes! There are a few things I will do to try and help accommodate with pricing as much as I can - If I maintain your vehicle every month, I apply a 10% discount. If I am tackling 3 or more cars for a single client at one time, I apply a 15% discount.
I am not your average detailer. My background is primarily in audio engineering (15+ years), teaching (4 years), and as a pro audio troubleshooting specialist (10+ years) amongst other things. I began Banner Detailing as a way to use my focus and attention to improve something in the tangible world as opposed to troubleshooting in theory. I am process oriented, enjoy working alone, and have a high work ethic as most of my clients know. With an engineering type of mindset, all details matter, so I felt this was also a big benefit as looking for things that stand out just comes naturally at this point. Since I am fairly meticulous, I tend to take multi step approaches when cleaning for best results.
